Maria received her first 35mm Nikkormat camera at the age of 7. She started in the darkroom at the age of 8. She has been in love with photography since the first time her finger snapped the shutter.

Maria grew up in France and moved to the United States in 1986 with her family. Maria grew up around wonderful art and architecture and is today still something that she cherishes. Maria has been married to her husband Eric for 18 years and they are proud parents to their two Shih Tzu dogs..

Maria is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) as well as a member of the American Society of Media Photographers(ASMP). For a list of some of her commercial clients or her publications, please contact her directly.

Maria is currently working on her photography book through Amherst Media Publishers. She currently teaches studio lighting classes to professional photographers. Maria's classes are sponsored by California Sunbounce, Precision Camera, Profoto lighting and Expo Imaging.
